In this degree, you’ll develop skills and knowledge in basic forensic science, and receive training in handling criminal casework in forensic molecular biology and forensic chemistry. You’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of new forensic analytical methods and innovations and gain valuable experience from real casework. You’ll practise presenting expert evidence in moot courts and will learn from academic staff who have ties to international projects and who provide expert evidence in Australian courts. In your first year, you’ll take core courses in biology, chemistry, mathematics and forensic investigation.
