Course outline

This double degree gives students the opportunity to gain an understanding of the law as it applies to the discipline of psychology and provides graduates with a clear professional pathway as a legal practitioner with a thorough understanding of human psychological factors. Applicants who do not have the required ATAR can apply for the Bachelor of Psychological Science. Students who then achieve the required GPA can apply to transfer to the double degree. Law students can undertake voluntary legal experience and professional placement with legal firms or offices to build their practical legal skills and develop their professional networks. This degree fulfils the academic requirements for admission to the legal profession in Australia. Alternatively, graduates may pursue postgraduate training to become a registered clinical psychologist with career options in health services, education, research and more. This course is also available online. For more course information, visit Bachelor of Psychological Science/Bachelor of Laws at Southern Cross University.
